Journal of Linguascope is committed to maintaining academic integrity, transparency, and ethical standards in scholarly publication. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher, must follow responsible publication practices.
Ethical Statement
The publication ethics of Journal of Linguascope are established to ensure that every published article meets academic standards and contributes responsibly to the development of language, linguistics, literature, translation studies, language education, discourse studies, and cultural studies.
The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, citation manipulation, or unethical authorship practices.
Authors’ Responsibilities
Authors must submit original manuscripts, provide accurate data, cite all relevant sources, and ensure that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
Editors’ Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for evaluating manuscripts fairly based on academic quality, relevance, originality, clarity, and contribution to the journal scope.
Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely evaluations to support editorial decisions and manuscript improvement.
Publisher’s Responsibilities
The publisher supports editorial independence, ethical publication practices, transparency, and the long-term quality of the journal.
Authors’ Responsibilities
- Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is original and free from plagiarism.
- Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
- Authors must present research findings honestly and accurately.
- Authors must cite all sources used in the manuscript.
- Authors must ensure that all listed authors have contributed to the manuscript.
- Authors must disclose any potential conflict of interest.
- Authors must revise the manuscript based on reviewers’ and editors’ comments.
- Authors must notify the editor if they find a significant error in the submitted or published manuscript.
Editors’ Responsibilities
- Editors must evaluate manuscripts based on scholarly merit and journal scope.
- Editors must ensure a fair and confidential editorial process.
- Editors must not use unpublished manuscript content for personal purposes.
- Editors must select reviewers based on expertise and relevance to the manuscript topic.
- Editors must make publication decisions based on review results, originality, quality, and ethical standards.
- Editors must take appropriate action when ethical concerns arise.
Reviewers’ Responsibilities
- Reviewers must keep all manuscript information confidential.
- Reviewers must provide objective and constructive comments.
- Reviewers must review manuscripts only within their area of expertise.
- Reviewers must not use unpublished manuscript data for personal advantage.
- Reviewers must inform the editor if they identify plagiarism, duplicate publication, or ethical problems.
- Reviewers must decline the review invitation if they have a conflict of interest.
Plagiarism Policy
Journal of Linguascope requires all manuscripts to be original. The editorial team may check manuscript similarity before the review process. Manuscripts that contain plagiarism, improper citation, or excessive similarity may be returned to the author or rejected.
Duplicate Submission and Publication
Authors are not allowed to submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time. Manuscripts that have been published elsewhere will not be accepted. If duplicate submission or duplicate publication is found, the editorial team may reject or withdraw the manuscript.
Authorship Policy
Authorship must be limited to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript preparation. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the editorial team.
Conflict of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any potential conflict of interest that may influence the publication process. A conflict of interest may include financial, personal, institutional, or academic relationships related to the manuscript.
Research Data and Accuracy
Authors must present accurate research data and analysis. Data fabrication, falsification, manipulation, or misleading interpretation is not accepted. Authors may be asked to provide supporting data when needed by the editorial team.
Correction, Retraction, and Withdrawal
If significant errors or ethical violations are found after publication, the journal may issue a correction, retraction, or withdrawal based on editorial evaluation. The decision will be made to maintain academic integrity and protect the reliability of the scholarly record.
